China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) is a Chinese state-owned oil and gas corporation and the largest integrated energy company in China. The firm has proven reserves of 3.7 billion barrels of oil equivalent and has 30 international exploration and production projects. In South Sudan CNPC holds stakes in the upstream consortia DPOC and GPOC.
